Temos recebido vários e-mails questionando-nos quando é que haverá tutoriais de maquilhagem - prometemos que estarão para breve - mas enquanto isso, decidi mostrar-vos hoje alguns truques de maquilhagem aprendidos em backstage numa "Face Chart" e ao estilo homemade ;) E quais são os vossos melhores truques?

We are receiving several e-mails asking us when there will be makeup tutorials - we promise it will be soon - but meanwhile, i decided to show you some makeup tricks learned on backstage in a "Face Chart" and in a very homemade style ;) And what are your best tricks?

1- Depois de colocar a base, aplico bronzing powder desde a testa às maças do rosto formando um E para potenciar os traços da face.

1- After i put the foundation, i apply bronzing powder from the forehead to the cheekbones, making an E shape to potentiate the face features.

2- Para uma maquilhagem suave no entanto com um olhar profundo uso uma sombra de cor natural e cremosa - no exemplo optei pelos tons terra, porque são os meus favoritos. Começo por delinear o olho com eyeliner e seguidamente marcamos metade da pálpebra do olho; a zona V - a parte exterior do olho - bem como a zona inferior das pestanas.

2- To a soft makeup however with a deep eye i use a natural and creamy eyeshadow - in the example i chose the earth tones, because are my favorites. I start to delineating the eye with eyeliner and then we mark half of the eyelids; the V zone - that is exterior part of the eye - as well the lower part of the eyelashes. 

3- Agora vamos iluminar a pele: para intensificar o olhar pomos iluminador na zona central e lacrimal do olho, e na parte inferior das pestanas. Não apliquei no Face Chart, mas também podemos aplicar no arco das sobrancelhas. Vamos aos truques? Para afinar o nariz, por exemplo, nada como colocar um bocadinho de iluminador, com subtileza, no topo e ao longo do nariz. Ou então, com um pincel fino delinear um traço ligeiro - no meu caso, em castanho claro - desde onde começam as sobrancelhas até ao longo do nariz também (última imagem).

3- Now let's lighten the skin: to intensify the eyes we put illuminator on the central and tear eye zone, and in the eyelashes lower part. I didn't applied on the Face Chart, but we can also apply in the arch of the eyebrows. Let's go to the tricks? To refine the nose, for example, nothing like put a little bit of illuminator, in a subtle way, on the top and along the nose. Or, with a fine brush we can delineate a slight trace - in light brown in this case - from where the eyebrows begin till along the nose also (last image).

4- O toque final é para os lábios: se quisermos aumentar os lábios aplicamos um bocadinho de iluminador na zona que se encontra acima do lábio superior, "a estrela". E se a cor do baton for muito intensa, como um vermelho, podemos colocar iluminador em toda a parte central dos  lábios, como também um delineador da mesma cor do baton para uns lábios mais volumosos. E claro, muita máscara de pestanas! Para uma próxima vez prometemos tutoriais em fotografia ou em vídeo ;)

4- The final touch goes to the lips: if we would like to increase the lips we apply a little of illuminator in the upper lip zone, "the star". And if the lipstick color is very intense, like a vibrant red, we can put illuminator in all the central part of the lips, or we delineate the lips with the same color of the lipstick to a more voluminous lips. And of course, a lot of mascara for beautiful eyelashes! For a next time we promise that we will bring you photos or video tutorials ;)
